This policy explains what information Aavran Architects & Interior Designers (“Aavran”, “we”, “us”), including our furniture practice Alaya by Aavran, collects when you visit aavranarchitects.com or get in touch with us, and how we use it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect
- When you contact us. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you share: usually your name, phone number, email address and details about your project or the furniture piece you’re interested in.
- When you browse the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are from, the device and browser used and how they arrived. This information is collected through cookies and is reported to us in aggregate. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running reliably.
The website has no user accounts, online payments or contact forms, and we don’t ask for sensitive personal information.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and to prepare quotations, designs and project proposals.
- To deliver the architecture, interior and furniture work you engage us for.
- To improve the website and understand which work visitors find most useful.
- To keep the website secure and to meet our legal obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This website uses analytics cookies from Google Analytics (such as _ga) to count visits and see how pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works normally without them.
Services we rely on
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): website statistics. See Google’s privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): the chat button opens WhatsApp, and messages you send there are governed by WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
- Hostinger: website hosting and security.
- Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms): our social profiles are linked from the site. Those links take you to Meta’s websites, which have their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers may process data outside India.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and project correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements, and then delete it. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account (14 months by default).
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct, update or delete it. You can also withdraw consent you have given us, or raise a concern about how we handle your information. Email aavran5@yahoo.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you aren’t satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for adults and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
